Inside, the Korean sedan features a modern and well-balanced cabin. Build quality is impressive, especially considering the vehicle's affordability. What I particularly like about the Elantra is its interior space and dashboard layout. Overall, it's a pleasant and comfortable car to drive, even on long journeys.
Performance
The 2026 Hyundai Elantra offers four powertrain options, starting with a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a CVT transmission.
Next is the hybrid model, which combines a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric motor to produce a total of 139 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque. What makes this version particularly attractive is its average fuel consumption rating of just 4.7 L/100 km.
