Hyundai Is Preparing an Even Larger Electric Vehicle

Hyundai ranks among the leaders in the electric vehicle segment, but it appears the automaker is thinking even bigger. Quite literally, in fact, as according to an official press release, the brand is set to unveil a new model that will be even larger than the IONIQ 9—already a vehicle known for its impressive dimensions.

The Korean manufacturer has several new products planned for the Brussels International Motor Show, which will take place in the coming days. The INSTER concept, the IONIQ 9, and the IONIQ 6 will all be featured, and there will even be a section dedicated to sportier models from the N division. However, what really catches our attention is Hyundai’s mention of the presentation of its “largest electric vehicle to date.”

Bigger Than Ever

Although little is known about the model in question, it has been confirmed that it will benefit from an 800-volt architecture as well as highly advanced cutting-edge technologies. This is excellent news, as demand for large-format electric vehicles continues to grow, while options in this segment remain limited at the moment.

This new model will make its world premiere at the Brussels International Motor Show, which suggests that it is primarily aimed at the European market. As a result, it is too early to determine whether it will be offered in North America. That said, Hyundai has yet to announce its plans regarding upcoming major North American auto shows in the months ahead. Canada remains an important market in the electric vehicle segment.

The brand will indeed be present at the Montreal Auto Show. All that remains is to hope that this new electric vehicle will be showcased at the Korean automaker’s booth.
